  • Adobe, Java & other 3rd Party Apps
     
  • Windows Server and Client Patches & Service Packs
     
  • Antivirus software updates and definitions
     
  • Online Backup monitoring and reporting
     

 


Due to recent malware attacks on Adobe, Java, and Microsoft software products, it is imperative that software updates and patches are routinely updated. Duality Inc. uses monitoring software that allows us to determine what versions of software packages are installed on network computers and servers.

Daily and weekly checks will be conducted to ensure Antivirus and Anti-Malware products have current definitions to ensure proper protection. Lastly, Online Backup services will be checked daily to ensure proper data backups are completing successfully. More importantly, we will periodically test the restore of data from the online backup repository, to verify the integrity of the data.

  • Firewall and Network Device Firmware Updates/Upgrades
     
  • Server, Laptop, and Workstation Bios Updates
     
  • Analysis of Windows Event Viewer Logs & Firewall logs
     

 

In order to ensure your firewall devices remain reliable and secure, security appliance manufacturers periodically release updates to the firmware of their devices to ensure reliability and security. We will also conduct security port scans to ensure no ports are open that could potentially be compromised.

In addition, your current workstation/server vendor, Dell, releases BIOS updates periodically to ensure reliability, proper performance, and security of the equipment and its components. We will install these updates when they come available.
